HU Covers 1972

Honest Ulsterman Covers for 1972. There were five HU issues published in 1972, 3 spanning two months and two a three month time-period. The covers continued to be a variation of the previous year up until the November/December issue which was designed by David Weir and was very striking. The cover would serve as a taster for the following year when the text-based covers would be abandoned for very original and powerful art and design.

The editors in 1972 were Michael Foley and Frank Ormbsy with the latter taking over the reins on his own from the September 1972 issue.
